Re-certification Process
We only sell fire extinguishers that we would be proud to install on the walls within our own offices. (In fact, we have our re-certified extinguishers on our walls.) We utilize extinguishers that look as "close to new" as possible. Only units that meet the visual criteria will be taken through our re-certification process.
Each re-certified unit is fully "torn down" and rebuilt by our licensed technicians and returned to its original operating condition. All internal components are inspected and replaced as needed. A hydrostatic test is performed on the extinguisher cylinder to ensure integrity. After our servicing work has been completed the re-certified unit is fully up-to-code, meeting all city and state certification requirements.
